On Sunday at about 10:20 p.m., Collins’ motorcycle struck the rear passenger side of the SUV as it was making a left turn. Collins rushed the SUV through one of the windows after being struck, according to the sheriff’s office. Collins’ demise was confirmed on the spot. The SUV’s unnamed driver remained on the scene and cooperated with investigators, authorities said.
